It seems like a lot of domainers want to know how to find end users for their domain names.

I figured that I would list some generic tactics on how to find end users or get your domain portfolio in front of their eyes. 

I realize that some of these tactics may work and some may not work.   I’m only listing these to help sellers think outside of the box for their next domain sale.  

With an open mind, you can apply these tactics when you are seeking your next domain buyer.

By the same token,  it is the quality of your domain names that matters to the person who will buy from you.  

So, if you aren’t receiving any offers for your domain names, then you must look at the quality of domain names that you are trying to sell to prospective buyers.  

In like manner, entrepreneurs managing a domaining business should in the least establish a lasting marketing strategy for progress, and it is very crucial to identify the difference between a strategy game plan and tactics used to find end users. 

In this post, we will lay out some helpful tactics that you can use to find and possibly sell your domain names to end users.

Go to trade shows in your area or abroad.  Great opportunity to network.  


Plenty of businesses that have websites with no traffic and your domain might be the right solution for their company.

I’ve listed 61 tactics on different ways to get more end users to get interested or at least buy your domain names.  

If you’ve been testing different methods to get a feel of what works and doesn’t with selling domain names, then you may already know that the tactics that you should use to get buyers are a mix of both advertising and customer development. 

Along with all of your tactics, you need to aim at different ways to understand who the end users are and what are their interests? 

It’s worthwhile to figure out your customer persona and then use that information to increase your ROI. 

A lot of domainers may use paid advertising to get their first few customers, but in actuality, there are plenty of ways to promote your domain names, as I've listed in this post.  

Once again, you can use leveraging other domain industry audience, using the big world of online communities, pinpointing the right social networks and a host of different tactics. 

Although finding domain buyers and generating traffic to your portfolio does take time and effort, you can increase the process by discovering how to domain prospect and how to direct those potential buyers toward a domain sale.
